The Average Cost column represents the national average purchase prices and is to be used as a guide to competitive pricing.  However, competition within the industry, geographic locations, supply, and demand, or non-competitive conditions can at times, produce differences between actual purchase prices and published average purchase prices.  Therefore, you must monitor market conditions and make your price adjustments accordingly.
